I get 5 bucks per gecko Kaeli nabs.
She doesn't nab that many geckos.
She misses half of them...
The ones she catches, she strews all over my yard.
I don't get 5 bucks for those.
Instead, I spend the next 5 minutes picking up all the little pieces. The head, the arms, the tail, the brains...
Lovely.
Occasionally she misses one, and I can scoop it up and thus get my 5 bucks.
It's rare. She's too fast. If it lands on the ground it'll be toast in 5 seconds.
Kaeli is a ruthless hunter. Kaeli is a ferocious, snarling, beast with fangs and a mind bent on annihilating the gecko race.
I wish... if it were true I'd be rich by now. ^_^
